Doing our bit for Cash for Kids...

Posted by Christopher Smith on

Radio station Forth 1 has a tradition of hosting an annual football match in order to raise funds for the Cash for Kids charity. This match sees a host of Forth 1 DJs, local celebrities and ex footballers taking to the field for a good cause.

The teams involved will be the Forth 1 All Stars vs Bonnyrigg Rose Galactic Olds. The match will take place at New Dundas Park, the home of Bonnyrigg Rose, on Sunday 27th September with KO at 2pm.

Just some of the names taking part in the game will be: Mark Martin (Forth 1 DJ), Boyd Macintyre (celebrity hairdresser), Fraser Ogilvie (former Hibs player), Guy Kerr (celebrity waiter), Jamie Carter (former Hibs player) and many more.

We had a few of the players involved over for an impromptu photoshoot at our Peffermill showroom yesterday...

As Edinburgh's #1 choice for teamwear and essentially anything else football related, we were delighted to supply the match kits for both sides involved. Not only will the teams be wearing kit from Football Nation though, they'll also be kicking two Precision Rosario match balls around the park, also supplied by us.

The Cash for Kids charity operates throughout the UK and aims to help children who are disabled, disadvantaged or come from abusive backgrounds, so the match really is for a great cause.

If you'd like to attend the match, head along to New Dundas Park in Bonnyrigg on the 27th.
