Use a Cool Wash

Wash sports kits at 30°C or below. Higher temperatures can damage technical fibres, reduce elasticity, and weaken heat-applied graphics. Cool washes are also more energy efficient and help prevent colour fade.

Avoid Fabric Conditioner

Fabric conditioner should not be used on sportswear. It can clog breathable fabrics and reduce moisture-wicking performance, making garments less effective during training or matches.

Use Mild Detergent Only

Choose a gentle, non-biological detergent. Harsh chemicals and bleach can damage fibres, fade colours, and cause logos or prints to deteriorate prematurely.

Wash Similar Colours Together

Do Not Tumble Dry

If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting and avoid direct contact with badges, names, numbers, and logos. Ironing inside out is the safest option.
