East Fife v Livingston preview

Posted by Christopher Smith on

Two FN Teamwear customers go head to head at Bayview stadium this Saturday 24th September. East Fife will host Livingston as both teams battle it out for 3 points.

East Fife are currently sitting in 4th place in the league having enjoyed a fairly steady start to the season. A 3-0 victory away to Peterhead was a particular highlight.

Having won League Two to gain promotion last season, the Fifers can be content with how they're holding their own so far. If they keep this up for much longer, consolidating their place in League One might just turn into dreams of promotion up to the Championship.

Danger man Kevin Smith has helped himself to 3 league goals so far this season, finding the back of the net on average every 145 minutes. He has also played provider by claiming an assist as well.

A win for East Fife v Livingston could see them potentially move 3 points clear of Airdrieonians below them.

Livingston have been flying in League One so far, currently sitting joint top of the table with Alloa on identical goal difference.

They began their season with a storming 5-1 victory over Stranraer and have won 5 out of the 6 league matches they've played so far. Their only defeat came in a narrow 1-0 loss against Queen's Park.

Livi's danger man is Danny Mullen, who is the league's top goalscorer at the moment with an impressive return of 5 goals. This means Livi fans can expect to see Mullen grab a goal every 98 minutes.

Given the home advantage for East Fife, Saturday's match is going to be a difficult one to predict. But you should expect a tight match between two on-form sides.

Both Livingston and East Fife will be taking to the pitch in stunning Joma kits supplied by FN Teamwear. Joma are a cutting edge Spanish sports brand who also provide kits to the likes of Villarreal, Sampdoria and the Honduran national side.
